Name My Fish!

Well, I am not going to start off this paragraph with “its been forever since I have written,” because that is what everyone says and you should just expect it now that I am never going to be on schedule all the time for updating my blog. But anyway I have a new challenge for all of my friends. Are you ready?
I have a new beta fish for my office (picture above) but I have no name for it. I am told that every fish needs a name, and besides I have so many kids come in my office and that is one of the first questions they ask me. So lets see who is the best at naming fish, something short and catchy and of course cool.

Kate used to have a beta in college. She named it "G", so when she came home from class she could say: "What's up G?" Funny, but kind of a bad joke. I think you should name it Omar or Scooter or something that starts with the letter T. I know those are weird suggestions, but that's all I've got. Have a great week!!!

You could name it Nemo and hide the bowl. Or Jaws. Or Joe or Landry (after seafood restaurants). My beta that I had in college until my roommate murdered it was named Miss Thang. That was about 6 years ago and I'm still bitter about it.

I REALLY AM GOING TO CALL YOU SOON!!!!!
Love ya, Rachel

I missed Masterfollies so much. My mom called me and let me listen to the awards so that was good. I really wanted to go. About the name for the fish. It is a pretty fish by the way. I got nothing. I'm such a bad friend. I couldn't even name our dog for a long time cause I'm not creative enough. I will think about it and maybe have one later. Let me know when you figure it out though so I can stop thinking about it. :-)

I think you should go with Bruce . . .Wayne if you don't have anything else.

we've been thinking about it, too, since we got one at the same time. so far we are looking at azure, blue, and dori (from finding nemo, she was a blue fish). you could name him crowder for david crowder or....i got nothing really. like i said we are still working on naming ours as well. i really like your rocks. we need to find some like them. where did you find them?

this must be my day for agreeing with sue! I like rusty, too. She helped me name all my fish when we were in high school. I think she has 'the gift' ...

i think you should name him briet hewitt gibbons carr in honor of joe's ancestors. we were going to name our first child that, but you can go ahead and take it.

in regard to your question on my blog, I just went to the "help" option for my blog and asked "how do i post pictures?" it should tell you how to do it for your blog, but then at the bottom of the screen it should say something like "how do i put a picture in my profile." I know I had to put the picture i wanted in one of my posts so that it would have a "web-address". I don't think you can just put a pic in your profile unless it is posted on a website somewhere.
I am sure there is an easier way to go about this - but i am a newbie and haven't figured out all the shortcuts and tricks yet. hope this helps a little!

I think you should name it John. Then you could say anything you like to John and then just tell him you were talking to the fish.

Scott thinks, since it is azure blue, and in your office, you should name it 728b.

Let us know what you decide.
